We jumped at the opportunity to design a clubhouse for the luxury waterfront community, Waterstone, in Wilmington, North Carolina for the Dean Hardison Building Company.  Having known Dean and his associates for over twenty years, gave us the advantage of understanding their upscale, quality-of-life standards for a true southern hospitality experience.  A brand new development with a modern coastal atmosphere was right up our design alley.  We had the pleasure of creating an all purpose recreational space that flows directly to and from the beautiful pool area.  Keeping a variety of residents in mind, we strive to provide spaces that are timeless and respectful of the surroundings as well as easy to function in from young to mature.   All the practical needs were built-in to disappear so maintenance and serving accessories were invisible but easily accessed. Common sense design and focused hard work coupled well with a skilled contractor, made the project stay on task and the installations run smoothly.  The interior design selections we made, like using real oyster shell lamps against a coastal-blue shiplap wall with natural wood swivel chairs and inspired art by our favorite local artist, Jeff Chase, all added up to a simple yet luxurious place to enjoy.
